Jamie Kloster
Seed Product Manager
Growers looking for the latest seed traits and technology will have more management options in 2026 with new CROPLAN® corn products. We have added eight new corn products with the latest traits, including SmartStax® PRO, VT Double PRO®, VT4PRO™, Trecepta® and PowerCore® Enlist® trait technology – giving growers more options for their unique acres.
The new SmartStax PRO product, CP3276 SSPRO, contains the three modes of action to control below-ground insects that this trait technology is known for. With a solid disease package, it fights effectively against corn rootworm and southern rust.
There are three new VT4PRO™ products: CP3818 VT4P TRE, CP5050 VT4P and CP5468 VT4P. Each are highly versatile hybrids with strong agronomics for additional flexibility for growers. Combining the three modes of action in Trecepta technology, these products come equipped with two below-ground methods to help manage corn rootworm, as well as protection against above-ground pests including corn borers (European and southwestern), fall armyworm, western bean cutworm, black cutworm and corn earworm. CP5468 VT4P has excellent tolerance to Anthracnose stalk rot with additional tolerances against Physoderma Node Breakage and Goss’s wilt.
