What’s New for CROPLAN® Soybeans in 2026

Rows of healthy soybeans in field
Variable was the defining word for many growers’ 2025 crop year. In some areas, excessive moisture caused problems including delayed planting, Phytophthora root and stem rot (PRR) and overall unhealthy saturation of the soil. Growers in northern states felt the impacts of the Canadian wildfires with shifting weather patterns. In general, microclimates were common, and diseases including sudden death syndrome (SDS) were prevalent.

All of these conditions led to highly variable soybean yields across the country. Growers looking to manage varying environmental and field conditions in 2026 will find more options with the newest additions to the CROPLAN® soybean lineup.

New Enlist E3® Varieties

Before adding new varieties to our offerings, we conduct thorough testing in environments such as the Answer Plot® system and on-farm trials, ensuring we bring only soybeans with the best yield potential to growers. So, for any given new CROPLAN soybean product, you can guarantee we believe it’s: a. agronomically sound, b. adds genetic diversity to the portfolio and c. is backed by high-quality data. This commitment to genetic improvement produced results — when comparing all 2026 new CROPLAN soybean releases to those newly released from 2025, this year’s lineup shows a genetic gain of 1.1 bu/A in Answer Plot testing.1

Below is a quick snapshot of the newest Enlist varieties joining the lineup and what advantages they bring soybean growers.

  • CP0330E: Combining CP0326E and CP0336E, this WinPak® variety has a relative maturity (RM) of 0.3 and works well across yield levels and soil types.
  • CP0926E:Growers looking for a variety with strong defense against disease may look to CP0926E for protection in soils prone to iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC) or white mold. RM is 0.9.
  • CP1826E:This single-line variety is a great option for variable acres, boasting strong agronomics and high-yield potential with a 1.8 relative maturity.
  • CP2336E:Protecting against common diseases including PRR, brown stem rot (BSR) and SDS, this is a Peking variety with a RM of 2.3.
  • CP2826E: Top-end yield potential and broad versatility make this a strong choice for those planning to plant across acres with a 2.8 RM variety.

In addition to these new products, I personally am eager to bring some of the upgraded soybean varieties to market. One example is CP1830E, a WinPak product consisting of CP1825E, a Peking variety, and CP1826E. As a half Peking and half PI88.788 variety, it has strong tolerance to soybean cyst nematodes (SCN), excellent standability, and with this upgrade, provides an added yield punch to the previous product.

New CROPLAN XtendFlex® Soybeans

As harvesting on time becomes more critical for efficiency, yields and profitability, soybean growers are widening the spread of RMs they plant. These additions to our portfolio reflect that, with RMs of new XtendFlex products ranging from .03 all the way to 4.2.

  • CP00346XF: The earliest product in the CROPLAN soybean lineup at .03 RM, this variety has solid yield potential in variable soils.
  • CP00640XF: This WinPak variety combines defensive CP00545XF and offensive CP00744XF for strong disease protection, adapted specifically for northern states with a .06 RM.
  • CP0246XF: Replacing CP0244XF with much higher yield potential, this 0.2 RM upgrade works well even in soils with poor drainage.
  • CP2350XF: With broad-acre adaptability and high-yield potential, CP2350XF is a 2.3 RM WinPak variety able to fit most acres going west.
  • CP2846XF: Here we have a 2.8 RM variety that works well across variable acres, also equipped with good tolerances to PRR, SDS, white mold and IDC.
  • CP3146XF: This is a high-yielding, single-line option with a later RM (in this case 3.1) for medium to high-end acres with minimal stress.
  • CP4246XFS: Another later RM variety at 4.2, this product’s strong standability allows it to handle variable soil types and tough terrain while producing top-end yield potential.

Manage Variability with WinPak Soybeans

The portfolio of WinPak soybeans offered for 2026 are particularly exciting. These products combine two different genetic components, typically one offensive and one defensive, to bring you a strong agronomic package for wide adoption across field conditions.

Growers who face highly variable soils have found that planting WinPak soybeans typically raises the whole farm’s average yield potential. We have seen these work especially well in my region in southern South Dakota. Even in variable environments, WinPak products have yielded well, often outperforming single-line varieties. In downturn commodity markets, every bushel counts, and WinPak soybeans can help you get more out of your acres.
